Reading 1, Ex 15:1-6 : Song of Moses

1Then Moses and the people of Israel sang this song to the LORD, saying, "I will sing to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.
2The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him.
3The LORD is a man of war; the LORD is his name.
4"Pharaoh's chariots and his host he cast into the sea; and his picked officers are sunk in the Red Sea.
5The floods cover them; they went down into the depths like a stone.
6Thy right hand, O LORD, glorious in power, thy right hand, O LORD, shatters the enemy.

Reading 2, Wis 5:1-7 : Face persecution with fortitude

1Then the righteous man will stand with great confidence in the presence of those who have afflicted him, and those who make light of his labors.
2When they see him, they will be shaken with dreadful fear, and they will be amazed at his unexpected salvation.
3They will speak to one another in repentance, and in anguish of spirit they will groan, and say,
4"This is the man whom we once held in derision and made a byword of reproach -- we fools! We thought that his life was madness and that his end was without honor.
5Why has he been numbered among the sons of God? And why is his lot among the saints?
6So it was we who strayed from the way of truth, and the light of righteousness did not shine on us, and the sun did not rise upon us.
7We took our fill of the paths of lawlessness and destruction, and we journeyed through trackless deserts, but the way of the Lord we have not known.

Reading 3, 1 Cor 9:16-23 : To preach the good news is the duty of a Christian

16For if I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For necessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!
17For if I do this of my own will, I have a reward; but if not of my own will, I am entrusted with a commission.
18What then is my reward? Just this: that in my preaching I may make the gospel free of charge, not making full use of my right in the gospel.
19For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a slave to all, that I might win the more.
20To the Jews I became as a Jew, in order to win Jews; to those under the law I became as one under the law -- though not being myself under the law -- that I might win those under the law.
21To those outside the law I became as one outside the law -- not being without law toward God but under the law of Christ -- that I might win those outside the law.
22To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
23I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.

Gospel, Jn 14:1-6 : Jesus is the way, the Truth and the Life.

John 14
1 "Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
3 And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.
4 And you know the way where I am going."
5 Thomas said to him, "Lord, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?"
6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me
