Bishop George Rajendran Kuttinadar S.D.B, was born on Apr. 14, 1968 in the parish of Padanthalumoodu, of the Eparchy of Thuckalay. He took his first vows in the congregation on 23-5-1994 and perpetual vows on 23-5-2002.  He was ordained priest on 29-12-2003.  He had his philosophical studies in Nashik, Divyadan and Theological studies in Shillong.  He was Asst. Headmaster in Guwahati DB School, Prefect of Studies in Savio Juinorate, Vice Principal of St. Anthony’s HigherSecondary School, Shillong and Vice Rector of the Minor Seminary. The See of Thuckalay fell vacant when Mar George Alencherry assumed office as the Major Archbishop of the Syro-Malabar Church on 9 May 2012.

Bishop George Rajendran Kuttinadar was appointed as the new bishop of Thukalay on Aug 24, 2012. His was ordained as bishop on Sept. 16, 2012.
